Squad Collects First Home Win

The Dons matched its total goals for the season in one game, destroying the visiting Fullerton College Hornets 9-4 Wednesday for its first home win of the season.

“We came out here ready to win, we knew what we needed to do,” Dons midfielder Tiffany Martinez said.

Martinez racked up four assists in the offensive explosion, forward Michelle Zepeda had two goals and midfielder Kristina Alatorre scored two goals and assisted on two more.

The win takes the Dons out of last place in Orange Empire Conference, tying them with Norco College for eighth in the standings.
