Three Dons earn OEC recognition

SOFTBALL:

Three hitters were rewarded for their 2013 seasons.

Sophomore Alexandra Perkins led the league in stolen bases and made First Team All-Orange Empire Conference. She played three different defensive positions throughout the year, and stole 42 bases for a new Santa Ana College record.

Perkins led the Dons in seven offensive categories.

Freshmen Danielle Hernandez (above) and Sabrina Perez earned second team honors. Perez led the squad in home runs with 11, while Hernandez hit a team-high three triples.
