Women lose to Falcons in 3 sets

WOMEN VOLLEYBALL
GAME DATE: September 7, 2012.

The women’s volleyball team lost their home opener Sept. 7 to the visiting Cerritos Falcons, 3-0.

“We actually accomplished talking on the court because our main goal was to communicate because in our last game we really didn’t,” Falcons Middle Blocker Jasmin Mitchell said.

If communication was the key for Cerritos’ win, then a lack of it contributed to the Dons’ loss.

“I think where communication faltered was from the sitter to hitter,” Head Coach Troy Abbey said.

The Dons host the Cero Coso Coyotes on Sept. 19, at 7 p.m.
