Anepalco’s Café in Orange looks like any other strip mall Mexican food dive. But not many Mexican restaurants put a French spin on neo-Hispanic cuisine.

The huevos rancheros looks more like a parade float than the traditional Mexican meal, piled high with a fluffy omelet resting on thick, soft corn tortillas and mashed black beans, topped with a dollop of creamy avocado mousse and pico de gallo salsa. It is at 415 S. Main St.
