Hello!

Welcome back and happy fall from all of us here at the el Don! After a long, crazy, stressful 17 months we are finally back in the newsroom here at SAC and working hard to bring you the latest campus and community news.

Whether you're a first-time student or a long-time faculty member there are some big changes on campus. Check out our printable, foldable zine with helpful info like what student services are available in-person and a campus map. And on the subject of available services, the new Johnson Student Center is finally open for use (yay!), as well as the Thrive Center, which offers a food pantry to students 4 days a week.

Rookie sports reporter/photographer Edgar Galvan has been hustling to bring you coverage of men's soccer and women's volleyball.

And finally, the first episode of this season's podcast, featuring interviews with students about their feelings on being back on campus, is available on Spotify!

I'm Carrie, your fall 2021 Editor in Chief. I got into journalism because I believe it's the media's job to inform us, not decide for us and want to work to bring integrity back to the media industry. I can't wait to help keep all of you informed so if you have questions, let us find your answers! Slide into our DMs where ever you get your social media fix or email us anytime.
