Fall TV season is here and with it comes the return of fan favorite superhero shows and a new addition to Marvel’s Netflix universe.

The second season of The Flash comes in after the defeat of the Reverse Flash and the creation of a singularity over Central City which happened at the end of season 1.

Season 2 will introduce new key characters, villains like Atom Smasher and other speedsters including the original Flash, Jay Garrick.

Arrow’s fourth season will premiere a day after The Flash, and will follow up on Oliver Queen’s departure from Starling City and Team Arrow’s fate after Queen leaves them behind.

In an interview with io9, executive producer Marc Guggenheim promised that season four will follow a much lighter tone. This will keep more in touch with Arrow’s comic book roots.

Later this year, Marvel’s Jessica Jones will premiere on Netflix.

Based on the comic book series Alias, from Marvel’s adult-oriented Max comic book line, the first season will be about superhero-turned-private-investigator Jessica Jones, aka Jewel.

Krysten Ritter will star as Jones, David Tennant as Killgrave (aka The Purple Man) and Mike Colter as Luke Cage.

The Flash premieres Oct. 6 at 8 p.m., Arrow premieres Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. both on The CW, and Marvel’s Jessica Jones premieres Nov. 20 on Netflix.
