A man who hopped into a student’s car Feb. 13 without her permission was caught days later.

Campus safety officers found a man matching the suspect’s description in Nealley Library Feb. 19 at about 1:30 p.m. He was identified by witnesses.

The suspect was suspended from campus for ten days, District Safety and Security Supervisor Lt. James Wooley said.

The driver refused to press any charges with the Santa Ana Police Department.
