The Hurtt Family Clinic opened a new location in Santa Ana to increase patient accessibility.

Demographics show 72 percent of the clinic’s patients are from Santa Ana, so providing a close, convenient location was a top priority, Chief Healthcare Officer Jewel Loff said.

Services provided include physicals, Pap smears, mammograms, pediatric check ups and tuberculosis tests for low-income and uninsured residents. Costs are no less than $30 and increases based on patient income. Healthcare services for children five and under are free.

Calvary Church of Santa Ana owns the building and paid for tenant improvements to increase the size of the waiting room. However, the clinic is funded by state grants through Proposition 10, which provides for community healthcare.

There are very few opportunities for low-income people to get medical care, so this is just another opportunity,” Loff said.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The clinic is located on 1100 B. North Tustin Ave. suite D, Santa Ana 92705.
